About The Artwork

The picture shows a predatory plant - a hybrid that breaks through the city pavement street and threatens the surrounding buildings with his attitude. The image is dominated by red shades: pink sky, bright red flower and red roofs, because this color symbolizes blood, anger and revenge. It is these emotions that the huge mutant flower that grew up expresses inside a ruined city. The painting metaphorically tells about the degradation of the urban environment. There is degradation of soil, increased pollution by oil products and pesticides. The urban agglomerations themselves are often deprived of sufficient land, greenery, they are overcrowded and, as a result, become inhospitable for human life.
