I am an artist from Kazakhstan and primarily work with oil and gouache paintings. My style leans towards figurative painting with elements of impressionism and fauvism. Artist statement In my work I want to express the beauty of the world that appears to me, using the instruments appearing in the world (my eyes, my hands, my feelings, colors, brushes , and sights around me) . It’s interesting to see the working process like the one piece of the world is having a dialogue with the rest of the world, which is actually the dialogue of the one with thyself. I don’t try to research or solve any problems in my practice, but trying to find something beautiful and intimate, that exists despite all the stuffs which can apparently disturb permanence of love and beauty. As a metaphor I use an indestructible silence, that lies behind all the sounds .
