About The Artwork
I painted this picture last summer on the North Sea coast in the Netherlands. I admired how helplessly, persistently and with passion, surfers conquered the raging elements. The sea is endless. Next to him you feel like a grain of sand. Time after time purposefulness, excitement and a strong desire allows you to do the impossible - to tame the wave and slide easily. When I look at the picture, I smell the sea, the wind of the coast and the summer carelessness. Painted on Plein Air in Netherlands. The artwork will be carefully packed and shipped in a cardboard box. Each artwork will receive a certificate of authenticity.
