Fabrizio Gavatorta was born in Turin on October 21 1970. In the world of Art is known as the "painter of shadows". She attended the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin. In 1992 she performs in the city of Savigliano his first solo exhibition of painting. His early artistic years are characterized by a predominantly figurative painting and academic. The birth of the new millennium turns his life: the painting becomes for the artist his unique work. Gavatorta is also known as "the painter of shadows". This nickname was born when the artist produre the first works of "shadows" cycle; these paintings have in common the representation of the silhouette, completely in shadow, superimposed over vast landscapes, almost always painted with a meticulous search of bright colors and detail, aiming to arouse more attention in the observer. This cycle has a clear, bold inspiration to Art "Pop". In 2013 he participated in the "Biennale di Venezia" in the "opera Gardens." In 2014 he became Chairman of Itinerarte ASSOCIATION. The administrative heart of this reality is at his studio and collects, within it, of the highest profile artists. It is also Artistic Curator and has behind him a lot of very important public events, including for example Itinerarte or exhibition of Contemporary Sculpture "Dialogue tests" designed to pay homage to the anniversary of the hundred years since the death of David Calandra. In 2015 he made a radio broadcast entitled RADIOLOGICART, on the frequencies of TrsRadio, where, in the conductive garments, speaks and explains Contemporary Art. It 'also the author of writings and books on Art.
