The painting came into the world after reading a poem. The Israeli poet (Dori Manor) - this is not how poet looks like: the character of the painting crystallized during the painting. I used a technique that combines the collage element with exaggerated and extrovert use, in order to emphasize the external image of the woman he desires, (occurring in his mind), and to be as precise as possible to describe the aspiration of the poet to whom he directs the words. He targets the words….and waits…. The search for the exact words…. The painter's style is figurative Expressionist combined with collage technique along with touches of paper. The paint is on canvas. I hope that I will be able to convey the feelings of the poet sitting in the room and his feverish mind setting a poem about the love and confusion that accompany it. The colors are vivid! It is not a poet sitting in the attic, It may be a poor poet but with aristocratic refinement.
