About The Artwork

William's Abortion began with a reproduction of a work by William Morris. Abruptly alerted to the current events in the United States concerning abortion rights, which coupled with my personal history, the production was aborted. By choice, by right. The painting is varnished with a glossy effect which highlights the several used medium and the contrast. The gilding allows my artworks to evolve during the day depending on the light. Allowing several visions and aspects, my goal is also for the collectors to process their interpretation and appropriation of the painting until it fully feels like theirs. My paintings are to be transmitted, but the emotions are to be exorcised and transformed as the owners will make one with the art.
