The Confidence of Aries Print

The Confidence of Aries Painting, Original art work, Geometric abstract, hand painted, acrylic on canvas. This painting had been in a special exposition called “A Good Sign” a solo acrylic paintings exhibition inspired by the signs of the zodiac through March and April, hosted by Palette Contemporary Art and Craft, at Albuquerque New Mexico. Based upon astrological symbols, music and dance movements, the exposition received the visit of the honorable art critic: Wesley Pulkka who published a whole page at the Albuquerque Journal with amazing and very positive comments about the quality, painstakingly crafted and very well-designed art work. Artist words: I wanted to create pleasant geometric compositions and I did started to study about the Golden ratio and the mathematics relationship with art. I did see some videos about the theme and started to to think how amazing is the pattern that measure the universe. I was just in a inspiration phase of my life when I just came to United States and I have that "needing" to create, but didn't have a plan! So I started to drawing and playing with what I saw in those videos. A composition just show up and I started to paint it in a canvas. At the beginning I didn't understood what I was doing, I just keept painting and I was liking more and more what was coming up! Always when I have the good luck to be visited by the inspiration from no where like this, I never question it, I just let it happens and when I finish I stare by the painting listening what it have to say to me! Just finding the meaning hided behind lines and colors in a harmonic conception! So, there was me, in front of a and amazing piece of art, and it just pop up in my mind: "This is Aries"!!! I can see! The horns the eyes. I don't know its is just... Aries! And... I'm going to paint the rest of the zodiac series! So I don't consider that I did create Aries! It created it by itself and all the rest of the Zodiac series. Impulsive behavior is a characteristic of Aries, the fresh passion for start new things and new phases. The following paintings where intentional. I also let the inspiration just show up and my brush dance on a canvas, but I had to study a little to understand how the the behavior of people have a mathematics pattern too, that is represented by the Zodiac Signs! It's fantastic how the movement of planets can affect the human behavior and it's limit is represented by the lines and the colors, always is in touch with the black, the dark side of each sign.
