About The Artwork

This abstract painting & collage is including tickets of the hungarian transport which I used many times over and over for cheating because I haven't got enough money to buy a season ticket. This is a memory of being lucky and never have been caught by the controllers. The colour purple and blue are representing the colours of the transportation company of Budapest.

My name is Zita Sramko, I work and live in Budapest, Hungary. My anagram is Art iz Moksa, which meaning with the sanskrit word moksha is: "Art is the ultimate freedom". I graduated at the University of Fine Arts, I learnt graphic design. I started painting in the summer of 2014, when I wanted to do something only for myself, to have a free expression of my own world after working a lot at a design company, and complete all the tasks in the universtiy. When I started do my own art, I explored my own secret world. I was (and now also) inspired by my treasure boxes in my room, and colours, papers, objects which I collected for years in my life and then started to merge them on cardboard, then later on canvas. My abstractions are new little worlds, with some treasures on it from collected things. There are many exciting details on them from different materials and elements (for ex. mini pearls, stamps, stickers powder, fabric paint dots, glitters etc.) I paint intuitively, and experiment with colours, always making new matches, and compositions with them. I love to use hologram papers, and glistening elements which are giving "flaching" lights to the artworks from different prespectives. The paintings are signed on the back with title and date. Find me on Instagram, with my mini paintings also: @artizmoksa
