About The Artwork

Fascinated by nature. I explore it. I run its mountains, I swim its seas, I explore its forests. Then I come home and I still think about it. So I paint to capture it. And one of my favourite places in the world is the wild coast of Bulgaria, where we spend a couple of weeks every Summer. There, the life is simple but yet so ample. Our home it's a small tent in the pine forest on the coast, our lunch is seafood picked from the rocky shore, cooked by the fire on the beach. Besides the amazing rocky coast, in the same coastal are there is a National Archaeological Reserve, Yailata, a seaside ledge covering 300 decares of forests and rocky coast with hundreds of human-hand carved caves, either single or grouped in complexes. The caves have been used for thousands of years as lodgings, and some of them as tombs or churches. This painting depicts one of my explorations into the mysterious land of Yailata.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

As a Transylvanian-based artist, I celebrate the wild beauty and rich heritage of nature through my paintings. Inspired by my daily experiences in the Carpathian Mountains, my artwork is a tribute to the stunning wilderness of this region, where I have found freedom in my creativity. I use painting as a tool to decipher the intricacies of nature and to communicate its beauty to others. My work blends elements of realism and abstraction and is characterized by its impressionistic style, loose brushwork, vibrant colors, and added textures created wiht a palette knife. Influenced by artists such as Tom Thomson and Lawren Harris, I aim to create paintings that are both representational and expressive, focusing on color relationships and paint handling to evoke the mood and spirit of nature.
