About The Artwork

The cityscape is my passion! When I started painting, although no - I started painting for the sake of cityscapes! To take paper, paints, sketchbook and travel through the streets, cities, countries. Therefore, we even moved to Germany... My version, unconfirmed :) I love to travel to cities and towns, big and small. Look around, observe, notice, remember. Buer is a very small town in the north of Germany where our friend lived. Very small but incredibly cozy and atmospheric. Half-timbered houses (das Fachwerk auf Deutsch) are a real piece of art. I wanted to capture not only them, but also the courtyard of my friend. Very quiet and intimate, with a church inside. NOTE: The colors shown on your screen and/or web viewing devices may vary slightly from the actual painting or print colors. The images in-home might not be to scale, and serve for illustration purposes only. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Signed and dated on a front. If you have any further questions about this artwork, please, don't hesitate to message me!

A full-time Ukrainian watercolor artist based in Braunschweig (Germany) since spring 2013. I was born and grew up in Poltava, Ukraine. I’ve dreamed to be a painter since my childhood and only after my 25th birthday I’ve started to paint. 6th November 2012 was the best day in my life – my first art class. Traveling and painting has been my big dream, which finally came true in 2013 when we moved from Poltava (Ukraine) to Braunschweig (Germany). I find inspiration in a beauty of nature, flowers and plants, in the beauty of the environment around – from ancient to modern architecture, cityscapes, minimalistic landscapes, and clouds, sunsets, endless sky. To know the materials better I have visited several factories of art materials producers - Hahnemühle (April 2018), Royal Talens (May 2018), Escoda (March 2019). Furthermore, I work and cooperate with world producers of art materials - Hahnemühle, Schmincke, Da Vinci, St. Cuthberts Mill, ShinHan, Royal Talens, Escoda, Rosa, Tombow. I am a member of German Watercolor Society since April 2018 and a member of International Watercolor Society in 2018/2019.
