I'm an italian teacher of drawing, an illustrator, a decorator and a painter based in Florence. I started as a graphic illustrator, and i used to clinge to precise and well defined forms. Today I portray myths and allegories through refined figures caught in a sort of violent fury of elements where the forms destroy themselves and show therefore their mutability. I paint on casual but full of substance base coats where you can almost feel the materic texture of the background because I strongly feel the need to indulge in the chaos but at the same time find a meaning to it. It is like carving the figure out of the canvas. I have to always change my projects, adapt me with them, overcome the panic of not having a fixed scheme, live with uncertainty and decide each time to throw myself in an unpredictable world. The curiosity, the challenge, the message are what encourage me to continue searching and makes me feel alive
