About The Artwork

This piece is part of the series: We see things differently, our experience influences our perception. But we can accept the fact that everyone has an individual point of view. "I paint new worlds in an abstract way. In my point of view, these places are full of life, peace and harmony. I work with strong colours that represent the vitality of the emotions I'm feeling when I paint. When I'm working on my art, my state of mind is at its best, there's no room for doubt, fear or bad feelings, I'm just flowing with the shapes and colours. My work is part of my spiritual journey, and the more I dive into it, the less I know. I have an open mind, where anything is possible and no one knows the real truth of what happens to us after this brief stint on our planet. In my view. spirituality is something individual, something we look for in ourselves, and the more we look for answers, the more questions arise. The viewer has the freedom to explore the traces, colours and movements of my canvas from their life experience, but, deep down, I as an artist hope that within this personal interpretation, emotions connected to beauty and positivity arise." Dennis Kostta was born in 1977 in the city of São Paulo and grew up in Diadema city (Brazil), where he started to make abstract drawings similar to his current art when he was still a teenager, always working in pencil or pen on paper. However, it was only after 44 years that these images gained more life, new forms and many colours in his paintings with acrylic paint on canvas. "I paint new worlds in an abstract way.
