About The Artwork
I painted this picture when I first moved to Turkey. It was a sunny winter day. The sea was very rough. The waves were huge. It was the first time I'd seen the sea so rough. It impressed me. And I painted it on the canvas. This is my impression of seeing big waves in the Mediterranean Sea.

I was born in St. Petersburg. It is the cultural capital of Russia. At first I studied art and dreamed of being an art historian. Then I started painting. And now I can't stop! I use oil, canvas. Sometimes images for paintings come to me during yoga classes. So for example I did a painting called "Shavasana". I am interested in the sea, animals, nature, people, human emotions. I am also into psychology, so the subconscious theme is also found in my subjects.
