About The Artwork
It's teatime! Theodora love to make her bunny best friend some tea! How many lumps of sugar will that be? I painted this piece as part of a collection of whimsical children from years ago when my children were itty bitty (now grown and on their own!). Their sweet faces and curiosity inspired me, and in turn I created pieces that celebrated their pureness and wonder and those simple delights. My hope was to bring my children joy with my pictures and stories, create memories-- and uplift everyone who viewed them. This painting was part of my solo show "Joule Parade" in Del Mar, California. The original remains in my personal collection-- I let my daughter choose one from my collection, and she chose this one to keep.
