About The Artwork

I am often inspired by nature in my paintings. And the element of nature that inspires me the most are trees. The old, ancient ones, whose shapes bring to mind great wisdom. I always imagine what they could witness, what they saw, what changes accompanied them. Often their form/shape gives the impression that they are looking at us, watching us, wondering. In general, I believe that all of nature is watching us in some familiar way, both plants and animals, silent witnesses of our times...

She graduated the State High School of Fine Arts in Cracow (major - exhibition) and the Pedagogical Academy in Cracow (major - Artistic Education in the field of Fine Arts. She defended her bachelor's degree in Painting in professor's Piotr Jargusz studio and her master's degree in the Graphic Design studio under the supervision of professor Adam Panasiewicz. Her fascination with work of Krzysztof Kieślowski resulted in her master's thesis "ADDITIONAL". It is a collection of twelve posters for this director's early movies. This work was presented in Zamek Cultural Center in Poznań during the 12th edition of the OFF CINEMA International Film Festival in 2008. She paints mainly in oil and acrylic but she is also familiar with other techniques, such as watercolor or ink drawing. Her paintings have been presented at several individual exhibitions (including in Cracow), most of them are in private collections. She always looks for inspiration in nature, enjoys observing it. She is a searching artist, believes in a volatility of art.
