This Ain’t No Peach, Bitch Print

I wanted to paint a portrait of Sophia Loren. She’s such a beauty! When I was looking at her photos, I thought to myself, ‘How frightening would this woman be if she had had a really bad day and was about to take it out on the next person that crossed her!’ So, this is what I envisioned her looking like at that very moment; cigarette in hand, picks up a large artichoke from a dish on the table, saying, “this ain’t no peach bitch!” As if she were threatening to shove it somewhere painful! I thought that I needed to proceed with this in a low detail piece like a Japanese woodblock meets Nagel style art.
