About The Artwork

There are many artists on earth who attribute to themselves the idea of a portrait of a person with twice the number of eyes. But I want to make this question definitively clear. Creator of Chinese characters, the great Tsang Jie (倉頡) was depicted with four eyes. Because I do not claim in any way that these four eyes are my find. And now directly about the picture, which I present to the attention of the audience. When looking at the picture, it gives the full impression that this is a portrait of a girl. But no! As the basis of my painting, I took the "Portrait of a Young Man," painted by Giovanni Antonio Boltrafio, who is considered a student of Leonardo da Vinci. This portrait is now preserved by the Dukes of Devonshire in Chatsworth Castle. The reason for painting the first version of this picture was the order of one famous Moscow businessman. He asked me to paint a picture that would help him make money by promising to pay any amount of money if I could paint such a picture! You can imagine how I felt when I received such an order! What should be painted in such a picture??? I've been thinking about it for months. Whatever sketch I drew, all this was not what I needed! And suddenly, by all chance, I caught the eye of a painting by Nikas Safronov called "Elusive." There was a girl with four eyes. And, of course, Nikas claimed that he came up with the idea of painting a portrait with four eyes. But I already knew the story of Tsang Jie, and therefore it was not plagiarism to paint my picture with four eyes. I realized that if you hang such a picture behind the back of my businessman, his counterpart will be constantly distracted by a look at it, and thus it will be easier for a businessman to impose his thought on the negotiator. As a basis, I took the "Portrait of a Young Man" by Giovanni Boltraffio. At first, my customer was very surprised to see the picture. But honestly paid for her and said, "Let's try!" I can't tell you how many times after that my businessman thanked me! According to him, he earned a huge amount of money only due to the fact that his colleagues could not focus on the subject of discussion at all, and constantly looked at these four eyes behind the back of the businessman. And the businessman at this time calmly imposed his thought on the interlocutor After that, I repeated this picture to order from other businessmen many more times. To make the painting look not very modern, I specially "aged" it with artificial cracks and artificial defects. Now is your chance to buy this painting and earn your huge amount of money!
