About The Artwork
Each of my works is an original work of art. The picture is painted on canvas. NOTE. No framing required! Can be placed on a wall without a frame. ABOUT THE VISION OF THE ARTIST: I was inspired by the culture of the Carpathians, the Balkan tradition of wearing monster masks for the holidays. I wanted to convey my thoughts and feelings also through the kinetics of the brush stroke. The contrast between the perception of objects is very important here, it is also visible in the technical aspect. This is one of the series of works "Salki". Hello! My name is Stefan and I am from the city of Izmail, Ukraine. The sphere of my interests is graphics and painting. Usually this is a portrait and figurative in the form of a drawing or painting. It's hard to say what to call my style, but neo-barroco, proto-renaissance and realism had a big influence on me. I love experimenting with shape, texture, and materials. In all my works I try to find different compositional solutions, tie them with different meanings, depending on what I want to tell the viewer, and what excites me or inspires me.
