Trapped in a loop Print

The ideas have been derived from a Manga short novel, that looked at breaking and then rewriting History, with a similarity to Nietzsche concept of the eternal return of the same, repetition, and finally Deleuze idea of simulacra where thinking takes place, of using existing material and forms to jump forward to something else. However the key to this series is a meditation on the notion of temporal/cultural looping, and the barriers which prevent further development. As with all works in this series the work operates as a tool and trigger to simulate thinking or as a catalyst in the viewer. I am also interested in the idea of over production, waste, and consumption. so the ideas work on top of all these issues.
