About The Artwork
An abstract modern art piece using drip and pull techniques that cumulate in a tree like image with golden fruit. Similar to that of a tree of life with continuous motion. Done in acrylic latex blues white and black highlighted with gold and red. I use this type of paint because of the low voc and my asthma. I tend to use a lot of paint in my work and there ends up being a lot of excess. I also love the various color options and love to use the metallics in much of my work. This piece is painted on canvas and finished with a with a clear coat of water based non-yellowing polycrylic.

Art is perceived differently by each individual as our life experiences influence our outlooks. No one can be taught to feel, that is something that comes from deep within the soul. Currently my passion is acrylics on Artist quality unstretched canvases (Usually 10oz prior to priming)that are triple primed prior to painting. I also use acid free papers And artist quality paints. I do not attend shows or art fairs or enter contests as I find no solace in judgement and I create best when I can be alone with a canvas and my thoughts.
