Vision of Ecstasy Print

My inspiration for the Vision of Ecstasy came from the first note I collaged in the painting. It says, “ for what it’s worth …. It's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be."I was going through a rough time, but painting this gave me a whole new version and perspective. To meet this painting, it’s a symbol of vitality, adventure, and self-discovery. This piece is a reminder to appreciate the beauty in everything and never lose hope. I love painting on a traditional canvas with oil paint, but I enjoy the freedom mixed media gives me. In this painting, I used spray paint and collage for my early stage before I moved on to my oil paints. Only 20% of this painting is mixed media and 80% oil paint.
