ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Watermelon house, 19*24cm, acrylics ,markers on paper. Handpainted frame. Dimensions (with the frame) 19*24 cm (7.48*9.45 inches) A friend of mine me asked me to paint the cover for a book he had written. In the book he describes the house of his dreams. He oftens uses the scheme of watermelon, but also this house looked a little bit like a labyrinth. So this sketch with acrylics and markers on paper came out just before the final painting which I gave him and I will present here soon. Watermelon, itself, looks like a hope or solution in complicate situation of mind.
