About The Artwork
Working towards Earth Day, I wanted to create an image of wild creature, but in pop art style. There is a call for more bears to be brought into the wild, at the same time, there was some incident in Italy where released wild bear mauled a human to death. I wanted to pay homage to the complex relationships between human and wild animals, and the fact that conservation and re-introducing wild animals do not always work in a way human desires.
