About The Artwork

Acrylic on Canvas paper uniquely textured with varnish drops Size A4 Imaginary still life painting of Tulip Sempers Augustus. A Tulip Mossaic virus broke out in tulips in 16th century Dutch, made them uniquely beautiful and thus exorbitantly valuable. A single bulb of Sempers Augustus tulip in 1633 Dutch, was asked for a price of 10,000 guilders that would have purchased a grand house. Wilted beauty is the flower that's laid down carefully on the side of the table, with the owner of the precious bulb giving it space to dry out in its glorius shape by trying their best to preserve it's beauty. As every artwork of mine is derived from emotions, this one depicts the cycle of life. All good things come to an end. Cherish the good times, deal with the bad times knowing there's an end to every despair and joy. Even the owner is dejected with the wilted beauty, he finds solace with other bulbs that may be next to wilt. The intensely sweet cherries soothes the forlorn heart.
