This series that I call Descoladas raises questions such as remembering oneself and the lonely path that this search takes. As Gaston Bachelard wrote in his Poetics of Daydream "from the opening of the world by an image, the world dreamer inhabits the world that has just been offered to him. From an isolated image a universe can be born". Who would this dreamer be if not the artist who seeks himself in his art, his connection with the universe, his life purpose, understanding himself through it and not the other way around.

Flávia Pinheiro is a visual artist, educator and actress. Bachelor in Social Communication at FAAP, graduated in scenic arts at SENAC, currently pursuing a degree in visual arts. She works as an educator for the Curumim program at SESC Pompeia. She was selected by the 2018 announcement of the Municipal Secretary of Culture of SP, as artist-educator of PIÁ (Artistic Initiation Program). As an educator, she worked in several SESC units and other cultural facilities. She was selected by the 2018 call for tenders by the Municipality of Bento Gonçalves for a solo exhibition at the Casa das Artes Foundation and exhibited her works in salons and galleries in Brazil and New York, and was on display with shows at SESC-São Paulo and Universidade de São Paulo - USP .
