About The Artwork
These are pistil and stamen of a tulip that withered, soaked in water for a week, and were then photographed wet on a layout-table. The pistil, which consists of the Gynoecium or the female part of the flower, looks like a phallus, whereas the stamen, the Androecium or male part, opens after a while and looks like a vagina. It is printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl, 285 g/m², and comes with 2 cm white edge. Other formats and media available on request.
