About The Artwork
I took this photo on my last trip to Morocco. During the journey to Essaouira, it is possible to observe expanses of argan trees from whose fruit the precious oil is extracted. Local goats are fond of olives and climb trees to eat them. In reality it is the oil producers themselves who build intricate scaffolding on which the animals are balanced, offering a surreal scene to passers-by. This photo received the Bronze Medal in the «Landscape» subcategory, for the category «Nature» by the 2020 edition of Maghreb Photography Awards.
