The work considers the landscape in a suspended atmosphere, like the Ghirri way, and shows an exemplary spontaneusness in searching the click: sometimes getting the subject in its most natural movement, disproving every academic conventionality. The exposure and the research of the light is delicate and sensuous, Tomei suggests to us a beach whose identity is lost with a magic and enchanting reflection. Tomei’s invite is to move away from the conventions of a world whose frenetic rithm often doesn’t allow to the dreamers dreaming. Beeing free or free ourself, as a physical and mental action means rising and geting the essence of life in its minimal and most humble actions. Eva Tomei’s photography, investigating and fixing those invisibile and almost impercetible places of a reality existing in an ideal way, concentrate her work not on things itself, but on what they can provoke.
