About The Artwork
Flour explodes on Naomi's back and forms into the shape of wings. The winged butterfly is getting ready to take off. Shoot was inspired by action shots from a Color Run and all the explosions of powders. I wanted to use a cheaper and easier to manage medium (bleached flour) instead, and incorporate the human nude form. Shot on Fuji Across 100 film, on Mamiya 645Pro camera. Signed and numbered print on fine art baryta photorag paper.
