About The Artwork
I made this photo with a musician. My idea behind this photo is to combine the beauty of a female body and the beauty of music by a projection of music patterns on her body and to use the projection as the only source of light for this series. I think that music is pure and naked and it needs a body to be expressed. Every instrument is a body of musical expression and so our body is an instrument. I surely was a bit influenced by Man Ray`s "Le Violon d'ingres" from 1924.

I´ m a feature- and art photographer from Germany. I was born in 1970 in Düren near Cologne/Germany. My parents immigrated from Czechoslovakia two years earlier in 1968 when the Prague spring was shut down by the russians. I began working as a professional photo artist after having finished my studies at the institute for art and design "ecole des beaux arts Saint-Luc" in Liège / Belgium in 1997. I work as a photo artist and assignment photographer for about twenty years now. I live and work at Cologne/Germany. I am fascinated by nature and the beauty of the human body because it`s something that heals us and therefore I build my art around it.
