Dehesa III Print - Limited Edition of 36

Dehesa is a Spanish word that describes the rural landscapes characterized by vast plains with lone standing trees. As far as I know it is only to be found in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, and its name does not have a real translation, the word “pasturelands” is to general and does not do justice to this unique landscape with its high biodiversity. It is created when trees and vegetation of the dense impenetrable Mediterranean forest were cut, to create pasturelands, thus creating these beautiful scenic landscapes. In this case the dehesa consists of another unique element, native Aleppo pine trees (Pinus halepensis) which complete very well the holm oaks (Quercus ilex). Its characteristic skyline is of great beauty and closely related to the cultural identity of these regions. Snow in this landscape is of course a very rare and an ephemeral phenomenon, therefore it took me several years to be able to take this picture. The image is also available at a 200 x 94,5 cm size, and as set, as part of a collection of four prints. Printing will be made directly on forex (5mm), which highlights the reliefs of the details of the image. This print offers long durability thanks to its UV dyes with high resistance to water (fingerprints can be cleaned) and solar irradiation, it is also an elegant and resistant support that does not require a frame. The work is accompanied by its corresponding certificate of authenticity, signed by the author. Printing is monitored by the author with at least one colour printing proof. Strong resistant hangers are included in the shipment so this print can be put on the wall right after delivery. A supporting frame (at the back of the picture) can be delivered on request, its price depending on size and materials.
