VIEW IN MY ROOM
Our apartment in Paris is very near the St-Martin canal. Along the banks, the students would have lunch .When it was very hot, 45 degrees this summer, it was the only cool spot. Its quite rare to see bird life on the canal so it was surprising to find the family of French ducks and ducklings going for the bread, which in itself is illegal to give them. "DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS" signs are all over Paris with a hefty fine if you are caught. So it was very surprising to see these ducks tucking into bread !!n this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of serenity and the flow of life through the simplicity of nature. I chose a black-and-white palette to emphasize the textures and movements, contrasting the gentle ripples with the stillness of fallen leaves. The duck, gliding gracefully, symbolizes a gentle journey through the currents of existence. This artwork is an ode to finding peace in the moment, harmoniously drifting yet purposeful, bringing a tranquil energy into any space it inhabits. This limited edition in black and white print will be printed on photo paper .The dimensions refer to the actual image size, the final print is slightly larger, allowing for a white border on all 4 sides, and a signature bottom right and an edition number bottom left. All prints are issued with a certificate of Authenticity.
