Flower Meditations Each signed and numbered, limited edition fine art print is an6-inch square image, printed on a sheet of archival 11 x 8.5" Hanhnemule Fine Art Baryta paper. Flower Meditations are from my on-going series shot on a Series 7 I-Phone, and can be seen on my Instagram account, @artandvictory, and on my web site at http://claytoncampbell.com/gallery/flower-meditations/ I make and post them with the intention of simply making people feel better in the midst of the stress of daily living. I’ve developed a core and dedicated following on Instagram who look forward to my posts of Flower Meditations. Each image is a pleasing kind of meditation for me to create, and are always different in approach. They are unique from other artist's flower images in how I manipulate and allow them to become meditative expressions. Flowers have long been a genre that has captivated artists of all cultures for their beauty, sense of peace, and timelessness. I am bringing my own voice and contemporary style to this tradition. My prints are available either singly, or work well as a grid. They are shipped unframed in a flat box. If you would like to discuss anything about my work, including framed at a different price, please feel free to email me, claytonscampbell@gmail.com

Since 1975 Clayton Campbell has been a cultural producer who has worked in the field of arts and culture as a visual artist, curator, arts administrator, and arts writer. His most recent work, Flower Meditations, have been photographed with an I-Phone and are released three to four times a week on his Instagram account , at @artandvictory. A departure from his other work, they are created to give his audience and public a resting place in the midst of the “serious stuff that is happening out there.” Clayton Campbell’s artist statement: We live in a time of intense social, environmental and spiritual change. My practice uses social commentary to find alignment with the meanings behind these transformations. I am making art that explores the behavior of ordinary people who find themselves in these extraordinary circumstances. A practicing artist, Campbell is known for his socially engaged projects, and has been exhibiting paintings, drawings, prints and photographs since 1980. His most recent exhibits include one-person shows of his seminal project, Words We Have Learned Since 9/11. This is a public participatory photographic project begun in 2005 and now consists of over 1300 portraits. It has been exhibited nationally and internationally at Unit 24 Gallery, London; The Higher Bridges Arts Center, Enniskellen, Northern Ireland; the Nam Jun Paik Art Center, South Korea; the Aaran Gallery in Tehran; The Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, Paris; the WYSPA Institute for Art, Gdansk Poland; Scope Basel, Switzerland; the International Center of Contemporary Art, Bucharest; City Museum of Dubrovnik, the Three Shadows Photography Art Center, Beijing; the University of Capetown, South Africa; The Museum of Mobile, Alabama; and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Mr. Campbell’s work is in the collection of the Wiggins Collection of Prints and Drawings, Boston; the Center for Political Graphics, Los Angeles; the Library of Congress 9/11 Print and Drawing Collection; The Phoenix Museum of Fine Art; the New Mexico Museum of Fine Art; and the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris. He has received research grants from the British Council, the Asian Cultural Council and the Trust for Mutual Understanding; Durfee Foundation Fellowship; MacDowell Colony Fellowship; artist in residence fellowship, Irish Museum of Modern Art. In 2003 the French Ministry of Culture awarded him the distinction of Chevalier, Order of Arts and Letters.
