Incongruent Memories: The Mystery of Strange Positions It all started when I happened to come across an old photo album. I decided to reminisce about the past and flipped through the pages, expecting to see the usual snapshots of family moments and travel. What I found, however, was stranger and more intriguing. Among all the pictures stood out images of a young man posing in the most unusual and ridiculous poses. He was bending, stretching, contorting his body to the limit of what was possible. In some pictures he was hanging with his feet down among the trees, in others he was standing on his hands on the edge of a cliff. His physical flexibility and crazy poses were astonishing. But the strangest thing was that in every picture I saw a girl looking at this young man with curiosity and admiration. She was his direct witness, his personification in this strange theater of poses. She never took an active part in these shoots, she simply watched as he turned his body into a source of endless expression and creativity. These incongruent photographs raised a lot of questions for me. What motivated this young man to act so eccentrically? What was the connection between him and the girl? And why had they created this unique collection of bizarre poses?
