About The Artwork

Non-functional: Photographer Richard Simkins & Creative Marta Bautti in collaboration with Fabiola Retamozo The project explores how one feels isolated by society from being unemployed. The physiological effect of this job crisis is identified with a temporary state of involuntary inactivity. On the other hand the psychological impact of unemployment, is manifested in the feeling of rejection by society and thus becoming invisible to even family, friends & companies & organisations.
