Lisa, 2019 - Limited Edition of 10 Print

Lisa is in her 50s. She dabbles in the occasional CrossFit class. She has grandchildren. She doesn’t only date black men, but her last few boyfriends happened to have been black, which her family isn’t incredibly fond of. Maybe it’s that she’s just more comfortable with them. She hasn’t had her photo taken in 20 years because she doesn’t think she’s photogenic. Lisa is a Christian now, but she’s struggled with drug addiction in the past. The obstacles in Lisa’s life have helped shape who she is, and maybe she’s a more understanding person for it. It isn’t for her, but she doesn’t have a problem with lesbians or gay people either. She thinks they should be able to go to church like anybody else. They aren’t allowed to be members of her church, but they’re welcome to visit and that’s great because you should be able to love people even if you don’t like what they do.
