About The Artwork

Backend story. This session bothers my mind for years, literally. Some returnig vision, call of inspiration. So, one beautiful day, in favorable circumstances, I decided to change my room a little :) I took all old stuff from my stash, from my friends, and from friendly electronic recycling company, and build machine v1. Yes, version one, cause so far i build three of them. But the first are somewhat unique, from various reasons. At first - it works. Mostly. Some stuff at the picture was randomly placed decorations, some element are dead or defected, but most parts of machine was correctly connected. And linked in local network. And powered. The leds are blinking, hard drives headers are moving, fans rotating. And even if something wasn't working, was connected in somehow correct or logical way. I know, that this not even noticable in the picture, but my geek soul was satisfied ;) And screens were working of course, it's not photoshop. At second - it has only two shoots. Building it takes about 2 weeks, waiting for a model and session takes two more. And this has only two shots, (Lost in social media, and Social Junky) So, it makes this the most ineffective session in my life. At thid - it was small er that it looks. Scroll down my FB fanpage to find some backstage shoots. Tech notes. Those glowing drips are made from flexible neons. At first i was planning to use some strobe lights, but it looks flat and ugly. So all scene was lit by small power leds and mini USB lamps. Model: Aris Gabriela Pławecka Publications: Photographize Magazine #40
