About The Artwork

Russian model Marin Daniil was not sure what to expect, when he entered Inge’s studio in late spring of last year. The set was full of textured fabrics, colorful feather boas and selected eyewear, all in front of a pink backdrop. Inge’s first thought was to develop a series of images inspired by good old east-west cliché secret agent movies. After finding out that Marin had brought his favorite trench-coat to the shoot, the setup was finalized quickly. Out came a pink-infused series of images re-inventing the image of “The spy that loved me”.

Die Goldene Inge is a German-based photographer you probably never heard of. And Inge's mission is to change that! The story of Die Goldene Inge starts back in the days with a nickname awarded to her for her amazing greateness. But Inge appeared only on rare occasions and was moving below the radar. Way too long. That’s why Inge decided to accelerate her visual spirits, bring out her true self and materialize for the public to notice her permanently. Die Goldene Inge is about realness, joy, passion, and dedication. Without smoke, or mirrors. With her golden force, Inge creates vivid miniatures of her reality to present a colourful interpretation of contemporary photography. Inge can see the true beauty in everything. The world is an awesome place. It’s awkward, amazing, adventurous and everything else from a to z. Full of moments, places or situations worth noticing. Inge aims to look for the most real of them to pixelate them for eternity. Die Goldene Inge has a playful approach to her work as well as to her own character. /// Inge loves the street. She is continuously grinding the golden curbs to extract a fresh essence of life on the streets. /// Inge loves the moment. Her golden doppler radar easily detects even the slightest amazigness worth being captured. /// Inge loves the city. Urbanity is her golden canvas to reshape solid matter into authentic pixel miniatures of reality. /// Inge loves Fine Arts. Simply for aesthetics, beauty and emotion, Inge’s golden trigger freezes space and time, without practical reason. /// Inge loves nature. Her golden heart beats for the beauty of our grand world, with the aim to respect and preserve it by all artistic means. /// And Inge loves people. Female and male characters have always been a central element of her work. Inge started on the street. Over the time she continuously moved closer to the object of interest and consequently dedicated her major work in 2020 to studio portrait shootings, playing around with multiple, colored lights and working on her retouching skills.
