About The Artwork
My style is primarily from the document journalist school of photography. The LEICA style of capturing moments from lives of people. This was shot for BOULEVARDS magazine of San Francisco, a fanzine celebrating the changing atmosphere of the city during the punk rock hey day. This shot was a black and white original manipulated by the photographer. Sophia Loren was receiving the UNESCO WHO Award for the 1979 Achievement through her contributions to children in Africa.
