About The Artwork

This is a photograph of the sculpture which shows the concept of value added. The sculpture is made of a real 1 Dollar bill, paper and rope. I conceptualized and then designed the sculpture to show the meaning of "value added" and also "business" in a way. We care and see only the value of a banknote or coin; but they are and can be materials as well. The sculpture depicts the sale of an origami house made of a banknote. The banknote is a material here with a cost of the financial value of itself. This was originated from my quest to find a business idea years ago. As I mostly think analytically, that idea took shape in my mind and I materialized it in this sculpture.
