ABOUT THE ARTWORK

What makes this photograph of a still-life set-up abstract is kaleidoscopic manipulation of the source two times. This image seems ripe and strange and mysterious. The aim of the artwork is to intrigue. inquiries:

b1954, Cleveland, Ohio - self-trained, happy to be a visionary photographer and visual artist. Cleveland gallerist Deba Gray discovered my work in 2014. Up until then I was a hobbyist. My first sale of iterative art was in a day sale in 2015. In 2016 Ms. Gray sponsored my debut one-person show The Grasp of Order at her Gallery at Gray’s in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then I have been honored to have shown in solo, group, open call, and juried shows. Over 100 artworks are in corporate and private collections. exhibit venues: Ohio OOVAR The Waterloo Arts Festival Cleveland Print Room Peer Show The Cleveland Photo Fest Four Mindful Art Practices The May Show at Lakeland Chagrin Valley Arts Yards Projects Rooms to Let Spotlight Gallery at Heights Arts Artists Archives of Western Reserve Gallery202 ARTicle Doubting Thomas Prama Artspace solo shows: The Grasp of Order at Gray's Choose Your Favorite at ARTicle Spotlight at Heights Arts A Large Transmission at Gallery202 featured cover artist: CAN Journal, March 2019 Essentially, my visual art blooms from my musical sensibility. I ask the viewer to complete my work by using their engaged presence and awareness and imagination. It really quite simple! Born 1954. Self-trained. Creativity has been a keynote for fifty+ years. Above all I am an experimenter who aims to tame the infinite creative possibilities. This was true for music and remains at the center of my visual art practices. see:
