This shoot was in the Australian bush. I was interested in seeing movement from below with the sky as background. There were many images with which I was most pleased! There are a series of these images that work well together. Its not often that the woman is blessed with the ability to feel strong and expressive whilst nude in the middle of outback Australia. This was how the shot started. The Trench Coat was soon gone and thats when I managed to get "Under Breast Covered". All images printed on Hahnemulhe Photo Rag 308GSM This acid- and lignin-free classic meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is specially designed for FineArt applications. Hand signed and numbered according to edition by Tony Potts. This work is also available in limited edition in the following sizes 26x36, 34x48, 44x64

I believe that most of the time sexuality makes itself too obvious. Sensuality is fleeting. Sensuality comes hidden inside reactions and subtle body language. Sensuality reveals the soul, and thats where I want to be. My photography of woman in particular has been a lifelong desire to capture the sensuality of the moment. I believe after 40 years shooting women that this ability to express themselves comfortably revealing the strength and sensuality that shows the soul…….. gets better with age. Its this combination of sensuality and chic sophistication in a captured moment that reveals the soul. Ive spent a lifetime both sides of the camera. My provenance is creative. My Mum, Judy Barraclough was a world famous model of the 1950s & 60s and my Uncle David Potts was one of Australia’s best known Time/Life photographers of the 1940s & 50s. My brother Timothy is the Director of The Getty Museum in Los Angeles. As a model, I appeared in the editorial pages of almost every Vogue magazine in Europe, saw the world, and worked with some of the very best fashion photographers in the world like Helmut Newton, Denis Piel, Patrick Demarchelier, Albert Watson, Oliviero Toscani, Norman Parkinson, and other legends. I’ve lived and worked in Sydney, London, Paris, New York and Milano, and years later, Bangkok. Sydney is home, and Australia is my inspiration. I returned home to Sydney in 1981 after 6 years overseas, I was eventually shooting editorial fashion for all the leading contemporary Australian fashion designers and magazines, including Vogue Australia, Vogue Thailand, Vogue Bride, Cleo Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, New Woman Magazine, Karen Magazine, Inside Sport Magazine, Black&White Magazine, Follow Me Magazine, Mode Magazine and Harpers Bazaar Australia amongst others. Ive shot campaigns for most Australian Designers during the 80s, 90s and well into the 2000’s. Im particularly known for my B&W nudes and fashion editorial. Im still shooting, however my focus these days is in the art world of photography, the exhibition of my past and present work, and the management of my 40 year archive. I’m offering limited editions of my past and present work, with a collection of single edition vintage prints on show also. Some of my best known images hang in prestigious private collections in both Australia and the US.
