About The Artwork
Printed on high quality canvas made of a mixture of polyester and cotton. Fine texture, UV resistent and matte finish. The canvas itself is 60x80 cm on a 2cm frame. It's mounted inside a 4cm frame. Hanging materials are included. 'Victim of the Plastic Web' is inspired by the wish to create an image representing the problems involved with plastic pollution in the oceans and the fact that we are becoming victims of our own throw-away culture, creating an ever more intricate web around us from which escape is hardly possible. Yet, looking at the picture one might wonder. Is she a prisoner and doomed to remain a victim? Or might she yet escape?
