About The Artwork

What today is a national park, based on tourism, formerly the Windmills used to represent a basic condition for people to be able to build their houses and their lives in Netherlands. Known for being under the sea level, the country depends on pumps (nowadays, very modern), which extract the water from the continent and return to the sea. At the day of this picture, we visited Kinderdijk to appreciate the “Ocean of Mills”, still in operation, and were presented by a typical Dutch ambience, where the fog brought to our moments an atmosphere full of reflections. Certainly, a place to never forget. - Limited Edition Print size: 90cmX60cm - Smaller sizes available at Open Edition Prints only
