About The Artwork

For this portrait, I was inspired by the work of Picasso and Braque, while still incorporating my own style and a contemporian touch. Going through anxiety, and stress, on a daily basis, I feel like this portrait represents well my inner masculine : being broken back together, while with time, pieces go missing, with an idea of anti-conformism as the pieces are not in the exact right place. I originally drew the portrait, using fineliners, before adding the colours digitally. This print is a A2 format, but if you wish a different size, just drop me a line. This is print on an off-white, texturised fineart paper.

Zade is a pluridisciplinary artist based in Bristol. Self-taught, their art is therefore one of a kind. Born in Senegal and raised in France by a French father and a Berbere Moroccan mother, they were always surrounded by a multi-cultural ambiance, knowledge and art. Zade is new, no scratch, still dreaming and full of hope. Zade learns, dares and does. They get inspiration from unknown artists, from misfits, from those who still manage to have a unique vision, unbiased. They like to find beauty where most people don't. They mostly work with acrylic and metallic paints, but use all sort of mediums, depending on their daily creativity and their intuition.
