My name is Nadezhda and I'm from Ukraine. My works are in private collections in Germany, Australia, America, Ukraine. I moved to Germany after the start of the war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. For more than 30 years drawing has been my passion, job, and life. I have been drawing since my childhood when I attended art school. Afterward, I learned Graphic Design at Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. During my studies at the academy, I worked a lot with linocuts. After graduation, I have been constantly developing my skills by attending various masterclasses, where I explore new techniques and materials. To date, I paint with acrylics, pastels, pencils, and watercolors. Moreover, I am fond of creating linocuts and artbooks. In my work, I like to mix various materials and techniques. I derive my inspiration from the world around me: from amusing combos of colors, textures, and forms. I usually start with an image and gradually, layer by layer, add details. I enjoy the unpredictable results of my work. The main motives in my art are taken from my personal experiences and imagination. As for me, life without creativity is impossible and boring. I want to share my joy and beauty.
