The sheet was made using linocut technique. It was created in the genre of Ukrainian lyrical landscape of the 60s of the twentieth century. Attribution Babkova Aleksandra Andreevna (1923–2006) was a Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. Graduated from the Saratov Art College (1949). Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture) in 1955 (her teachers were I. Shcheglov, B. Milovidov and A. Pashchenko). She worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. From 1954, she participated in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine from 1960. The works of A. Babkova are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Preservation The work is in good condition. It will complement the collection of connoisseurs of Ukrainian easel print graphics of the era of the 60s of the twentieth century, and will also be interesting to fans of the Ukrainian lyrical landscape genre.
