About The Artwork
This work is part of a series of works on the mood and intangible emotions that belong to the emotional and deeper sphere of the soul. The need to explore an inner world hitherto jealously guarded and hidden from the superficial gaze of the external world, starts from a recent and excruciating loss in my life. An indescribable lack that will accompany me inexorably day by day. The work tries to express a state of restlessness in continuous movement, like the violent one of water during a storm. Inside it it brings areas of shadow, dark patches that, with the sudden movement of a stormy sea, can be made visible and emerge up to the surface. Hidden wounds that sometimes go back to make themselves felt.

I am a professional engraver and I love to use my passion to create images that stimulate the viewer. I find inspiration from nature and technology by trying to mix them together. I think it is very important not to forget what surrounds us. Sometimes I use photography as a basis to imagine the composition of my works. In general I prefer to use etching techniques such as etching, woodcut or screen printing, but often I like to create graphic works on paper through pen drawing or using liquid watercolors. I graduated from the academy of fine arts in painting and subsequently in art graphics. I have been drawing and painting for over 10 years.
