"SHARK PEOPLE". 2020 A sculptural diptych consisting of a male and female figure. The size of each sculpture – 67,5х20х20 cm Material: concrete, acrylic The sculptural series has a circulation of 10 author's copies, and molded by hand from concrete. (Sculptures may not be available at checkout. It will take me about 1 month to make them from the date of ordering) «Are we so alone in the Universe? What if, in a parallel reality, evolution took a different path and produced completely incredible life forms… Perhaps the Universe has the ability to transfer the seed of life to distant galaxies, thereby altering genetic structures beyond recognition».

ASTIAN REY Born in 1987 in Kiev, Ukraine. Astian Rey is the founder of his own direction of art - “Sacred Brutalism”. In his work he explores themes of religion, mysticism and the occult, as well as their role in the development of humanity. Astian is known for his interdisciplinary approach to art, including sculpture, installation, literature and musical-performative experiments. He is the author of the Codex Reptilius project, which is an artificially created mystical cult with its own book, sacred objects and music album. The works are in private and public collections in Ukraine, the USA and Europe.
