About The Artwork
My work is a wooden assemblage inspired by Whistler's painting. This painting can be treated as a bas-relief. It is quite heavy but of course it is suitable for hanging on the wall. It has two symmetrically placed slings. It is made in my workshop from waste wood. It is a collage of polished wooden pieces glued to a wooden plate / door taken out of an old piece of furniture.
